It's four-thirty in the morning and I'm feeling sentimental. This is not a state of mind I like. Here I am wishing I could have brought Billie Holiday and Alice Coltrane together. Wanting to give kozizi a kocaman hug as per the quiz she posted. Wondering how madamedisgrace is getting on. Wanting to go to America just to say Hi to entr00pi. Worrying that I'm not taking enough of an interest in my students. Wanting my LJ friends to sympathise with me. Wanting to apologise to whoever I dissed on philosophy.

No, scratch the last one. Lumpen-Nietzscheans need to learn the hard way.

I had a lumpen-Nietzschean once, but my oncologist took care of it.

You did the right thing. Most Nietzscheans are benign and usually go away after a while, but once they form lumpens, they tend to be cancerous.
