Someone on LJ - I forget who - pointed me in the direction of this article, which says

My husband preferred to tell my daughter bedtime stories taken straight out of "1,001 Nights", before they'd been contorted at the hands of Hollywood.

I just hope he doesn't read the bits my wife reads to me.

Hey, a little innuendo never hurt anybody. I watched Porky's when I was eight. Certainly this is no worse. :-)
