King Crimson
Tuesday, October 22nd, 2002 01:31 amI need better headphones. I'm listening to Starless and Bible Black and can't get any decent volume.
To clarify what I said about it being King Crimson's best album: only side two (yes, boys and girls, albums had sides in those days!). I now agree with
rodneyorpheus that John Wetton was the worst thing to happen to King Crimson. He sings so bloody carefully! Side two is instrumental and kicks serious ass, which is why I wish I could listen to it louder.
Oh well, that's the story of King Crimson: in every incarnation it's Robert Fripp, some well hard musos and a lame vocalist. At least Adrian Belew compensates for his vocal ineptitude with some superb guitar.
