End of absence

I'm back after a month in England - no chance to write since the computer was in my mother's room, so no small hours computing, and barely enough time to check my mail.

Going to England was, as usual, very pleasant. Green everywhere, polite people, good beer and Buffy and Star Trek on the TV every day. The experience was tinged with sorrow, though - I felt my father's absence keenly.
