"It’s 1 p.m. on a Thursday and Dianne Bates, 40, juggles three screens. She listens to a few songs on her iPod, then taps out a quick e-mail on her iPhone and turns her attention to the high-definition television." So goes an article in the NY Times. It's a little better than the usual "the interwebs are making us stupid" articles, but the first sentence is a giveaway. Doesn't the author know that an iPhone contains the functionality of an iPod, so the chances of someone carrying both of them are minimal?
