Piracy Map
Friday, November 28th, 2008 02:04 amHere is a map of recent piratical events utilising Google Maps. Note that there are so many flags near Somalia that you have to zoom in to even read the name of the country. The next stage is for the Somali pirates to bribe Google employees to ensure that all piracy seems to occur in other parts of the world (e.g. the Bay of Biscay) and it is perfectly safe to sail a tanker (or a ship full of cursed bullion) through the Red Sea. With the profits from this venture, they will buy enough sponsored links in Google to ensure that any searches for "secure investment" end up in clicks on the Bank of Somali Pirates. With the profits from that, they will buy Google, making it so that all searches will only produce one result which will read:
ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US -
TEH SOMALI PIRATES
