I've just found that if you post to LJ, it deletes all previous saved drafts. That means you're not going to see the "100 Things About Me" meme, because it was up to 65 when I lost it, and I'm buggered if I'm going to write all that again.

I don't trust LJ's save function as far as I can throw it. I either compose things in Word Perfect and paste them, or I start with a personal post and edit it 'til it's ready for the public.

Damn. I think it saves drafts as long as that's the next thing you post. In other words, is kinda useless.

I saved mine as private until it was ready.

Same here: write in Word, paste to Pad, post. Only then.
