Friday, February 22nd, 2008 01:34 amI commented earlier that there would be only two ways Marx and Engels could reach a wide audience with The Communist Manifesto these days: rename it as Harry Potter and the Communist Manifesto or slice it up and circulate the pieces around FaceBook. I forgot YouTube. Someone has done a little video of John Galt's speech from Atlas Shrugged, cut it into easily-digestible chunks and posted it on YouTube. OK, "easily-digestible" can't be used for anything by Ayn Rand, even if it's in video form, but you get the idea. I await the YouTube version of Deuteronomy.

I'm trying to find a way to connect with the Encyclopedia of Life (I might have the URL wrong ... it's so hi-falutin' that it crashes my Firefox.) ... not so long ago UNESCO was backing a slightly related project: Encyclopedia of Life Support System, a simpler system.
