The Rogue Spell-Checker Strikes Again
Friday, May 11th, 2007 03:22 pmSpelling checkers are fine things, not least because of the light relief they provide us while reading student papers. I may have commented years ago on those great books of philosophy, Plateau's Republic and Leviathan by Hobbies. Now I have learned, from an essay on moral panic, that in the 1930s, Germans had a fear that their country was being destroyed by the Juice.
