Uhm.. hopefully that's not a rhetorical question. But yes I remember tasha yar, one of my ex's worked to emphasize her natural similarity with the actress.

I can't really remember why I wrote that, to be honest - one of those sleepless posts when ideas just pop into your head. I remember Tasha was one character that made me warm to TNG when it started (I was pretty suspicious to start off with - I mean, kids on the ship and an android called Data?). I was pretty upset when she got killed off.
