Miss Turkey

robinturnerJust watched the Miss Turkey show. I'm not a fan of beauty contests, but as fillers they had Shakira and, oh joy!, Sultans of the Dance. The latter are a Turkish group inspired by Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance. Our big regret is that they came to our university last year and we didn't go to see them because we thought the price (50 millon Turkish Lira = $30 = a dozen bottles of raki) was excessive. Big mistake. If you're into dance and this company comes to your country, pay any money to see them.
