I'm slipping back into daylight eliminating time. Last night we went to see my sister-in-law's boyfriend's band and didn't get to sleep till 5 a.m., which was worth it given that it's been a long time since I've gone out and listened to good pub rock (not to mention the fact that I really admire a band that can segue from "A Hard Day's Night" into "Psychokiller"). Now it's 3 a.m. and I really have to watch another episode of Firefly before I go to bed. It's cheesy as hell, but I love it. And it has dialogues like

"She's a witch!"
"Yeah, but she's our witch, so cut her the hell down!"

and

"But we're married. Aren't we to be one flesh?"
"No, we're pretty much two fleshes here."

If Firefly goes on beyond serenity, in the form of more series, I'm thinking it could be a Buffy beater.
