Today I made garlic bread for the first time in ages. Mmmmm! The fact that something so easy to prepare can taste so good is almost enough to make me believe in Divine Providence.

I agree whole-heartedly! In fact, if memory serves correctly, an old journal entry of mine says much the same thing, that the existence of garlic toast makes me reconsider my disbelief in a god. Heh.

More like it hadn't considered the possibility of being cooked. There is a definite limit to the amount of raw garlic you can eat without special training. There is also the factor that individuals who eat large amounts of garlic are shunned, thus preventing their genes from being transmitted ;-)

It doesn't prove there's a God, but it does prove there's a Devil.

You have given into temptation, and you must now repent and do holy gym penance, lest you become a blob.
