AAARGH! I tune in to MCM and they play the same Britney Spears video twice in the space of half an hour. I reckon she's found out the nasty things I've been saying about her (or seen my Kant Can Do It piss-take) and is on my case. So I turn over to MTV and get NSync. Ugh! Pubescent boys singing close harmony are bad enough, but when they try to toughen up their image with videos of macho street-life, it goes beyond absurd. I mean come on children, ZZ Top would eat you for breakfast with corn grits.

A journalist friend of mine in the Bay Area just did back-to-back interviews this week with N'Sync and distinguished African-American playwright August Wilson. He said he screwed up and asked August about how things were going with Britney :)
