Am I alone in thinking that Bush's new slogan, "Freedom, faith, families, and sacrifice" has a kind of 1930s ring to it? As in Spain, Italy or Germany in the 1930s?
No. It definitely rings of fascist sloganeering, but I'm not quite sure why. I think it's something to do with none of those words being used with their normal meaning. Eg "Families" actually means "no concessions to gay faggot queers".
...and all we want is a little bit of space around our military bases and a little bit of breathing room. Incidentally, have you noticed how horrible those homosexuals were during our convention in New York? Maybe there's something we can do about them...
Yeah
