I've heard of future-shock, but what about past-shock?
Saturday, May 10th, 2003 03:44 pmIn March 1967, aged 18, Eno married Sarah Grenville. Their daughter Hannah, born in July 1967, is now 30.
Whoo, that makes me feel old. The last time I saw Hannah, she was a bright, quirky ten-year-old and I was madly in love with her mother. I never met Brian Eno, in fact I remember commenting on Sarah's unusual surname, and she said "Oh, I married this guy called Brian Eno - you might have heard of him." I hadn't - I wasn't a Roxy Music fan, and this was a year before "Discreet Music" and "Music for Airports" blew my little mind.
Jesus, I still can't think of Hannah as thirty years old!
