ICQ

So at long last, I get on ICQ, something I'd been avoiding after my disappointing experiences with AIM, which tended to do nothing except eat RAM. The reason was actuallythat I wanted a convenient way to send messages to my wife's cell phone, but I added a few LJ people. Of course, all but one of them are offline at the moment, and the online one has marked herself as unavailable (which of course makes her all the more desirable). So, if any of you want to post to me my, UIN is 154306773, though I doubt I'll have anything worth saying, especially since I've got back from class, had a siesta and failed to wake up from it. And I still find the semantics of If-sentences like the previous one do my head in.

ICQ again

Hmmm, I had no idea this could be so difficult. I finally manage to get my ICQ account and set up licq correctly and I can't talk to anyone. Only Arya is online, and I when I try to talk to her, it says she closed the connection, despite being listed as "available" (I once used "I'm available" as a chat-up line - to my great surprise, it actually worked).
