My friend Matt, who has probably produced more Beckett than any other living person in the U.S., was amused when spellcheck suggested "Buckwheat" for "Beckett."
I'm sure you know how assertive Word can be when it's set to be "helpful". Well, with the early versions we used to set it that way just so the (very primitive) spell-checker would keep pumping absurdities at us. (In truth, I didn't ... I insisted on using WP5.1, since I actually had word that needed to get done.)
Today's Word is weird too. It capitalizes Marxism but not Leninism. Then again, at least it recognized Lenin (and Marx, of course) as a legitimate word - not so with Engels. Poor Friedrich would have been heartbroken.
