Things are hotting up
Thursday, November 20th, 2003 04:22 pmSomebody really has it in for Turkey - two bombs in Istanbul a few days ago, then two more today. Nothing going on here in Ankara so far, but they've still cancelled classes (though not, unfortunately, staff meetings) for today and tomorrow.
I phoned some friends in Istanbul to make sure they were all right, and checked LJ to make sure
kozizi was OK, then reminded myself to keep things in perspective - terrorists would have to do a lot more than this to rival the fatalities from road accidents in Istanbul.
