I've been a good boy and converted our department's website to XHTML. Most of it was easy - I'd done a load of reading on how to convert HTML to XHTML, but found that that wonderful tool from the W3C's Dave Raggett, Tidy will do most of it for you. The final tweaking was a pain, since it was mainly to do with bits and bobs of Javascript, but one thing really tickled me. The last thing to produce an error message was the code I'd pasted from the W3C saying that my CSS was valid - they forgot to close the img tag!

Update: I checked the mailing lists, and this problem has been noted!
