This is what happens when someone spams the Lojban list:
RE: Any men for discrete sex?

la and cusku di'e

>> Attempting to render this in Lojban:
>>
>> "xu su'o nanmu cu zanru lo sepli nu gletu"

i xu su'o nanmu cu tolzau lo ranji nu gletu

mu'o mi'e xorxes

If only I could understand Lojban...

Sometimes I'm not even sure that I have a good grasp of English...

You can always paste the text into the Lojban translator (http://www.lojban.org/jboski/index.php). It doesn't produce normal English, though, more a kind of "logicalese".

--------------------
SYNTAX ERROR IN TEXT
--------------------
Misparsed token :
cu [CU] (line 3, col 15)
Latest successfully parsed tokens :
nanmu [BRIVLA] (line 3, col 9)
su'o [PA4] (line 3, col 4)
di'e [KOhA2] (line 1, col 14)
cusku [BRIVLA] (line 1, col 8)
and [CMENE] (line 1, col 4)
la [LA] (line 1, col 1)
--------------------

That wasn't very helpful.

It worked when I tried it. You need to paste in only Lojban sentences - if you mix in other stuff like English or > marks, it'll probably confuse the computer.

I removed the carats and quotation marks, yet the computer was still confused. This is why natural languages are superior, nyah :P

I removed the English too.

And I can't really articulate the connection between confused computers and the superiority of natural languages, if one even exists. In short, don't mind me and my babbling.

I'm so tired. Too tired to think.

The first sentence reads

xu {yes/no?..} [1(2[zanru1 (approver-er(s)) :] su'o at least nanmu man/men)2 cu is/does «3zanru approver-ing»3 (4[zanru2 (approved plan(s)) :] lo any/some (5sepli kept separate [type-of] <6nu event(s) of [7«8gletu copulat-ing»8]7>6)5)4]1

I hope that's clear ;-)
