I've just installed Moz 1.4 (on Mandrake 9.1). Very nice, but the menu fonts are pig-ugly (although web pages and mail come out fine). It's like going back to the days of 1.0.

depending on what environment you use, getting a moz to match it can help. (the gtk2 moz on gnome2 looks good, but the gtk1 moz looks really awful.)

really, it'd be nicer to fix it. there's some page on changing your userprefs as a workaround...

I bit of googling around revealed that the installer download for Linux doesn't use Xft, so you get the cruddy menu fonts that pre-1.3.1. versions had. I downloaded the RPMs and antialiasing works fine with them. There should be a big warning on the download page about that problem - other than that it looks like a pretty good release.
