Reaching the end of my tether with LJ

OK, I can cope with slow servers and time-outs. I have a free user account, so I don't expect speed, and in any case, my 56K modem makes everything slow. But now LJ is screwing up my login. I have my settings set for permanent login, but I've had to login four times in the space of twenty minutes. What's up?

i haven't heard of that particular problem, but lj has pretty much been sucking for everyone lately.

I have a paid account and in the last week in a half, I can hardly ever connect!
