So following faux_pas, bram has deleted his journal. This sucks! (or to be more British, that's just not cricket!)

I share your disappointment.
I can only hope that some thoughtless person leaving odd comments didn't force him away -- I know Bram had been justifiably complaining about that recently...

No it had nothing to do with that. That happened just once and it was clear it was an honest mistake. For a fuller discussion see kricker's journal, the entry with 15 comments. What happened, happened with intent, and though the people involved were well within their rights to do it, I'm upset. One of them has tried to make amends, but the timing, coming after I deleted my journal, is oddly coincidental, and I don't want to use my journal as a bargaining chip.
