dubya was born in the land of the free;
his i's were ice, his tongue was fire
he tried to put food on his family;
and fought to make the pie much higher.
dubya is not a revengeful man;
they misunderestimated his toil
our children is learning (as best as her can)
to die in the desert defending his oil.

Date: 2003-03-14 03:11 am (UTC)I read a nice story about cummings and punctuation. One of his books had been typeset, and he was shown the proof copy. To his horror, he found that a full stop had been typeset as a comma. The crisis was solved by a typesetter who crawled into the press and shaved the tail off the comma.
