Last night I finally got round to seeing the film of the musical Hair all the way through. Parts were embarrassing, but it was an enjoyable piece of nostalgia for me - I grew up with the soundtrack. What interests me is why CNBC-E should suddenly decide to show an old musical about hippies protesting against the Vietnam war at this moment. I mean, America doesn't do things like that any more, does it?

What? Protest against war? Are you kidding?? You haven't seen footage or photos of all the recent anti-war demonstrations? ;)

No, I was being sarcastic and referring to sending kids off to fight in wars the other side of the world to fight countries that have never posed a threat to America.

I was being facetious. See the winky smile? ;)

(and yes, I get your point!)
