Sinking my qi

Hapkido practice was good today. I managed to remember the throws from double grabs my teacher showed me last night (over some serious Bulgarian raki) then during forms practice I took a break from hapkido to do my taiji form. I got that thing they describe as the qi (ch'i / ki / gi) sinking to the dantian (tan ti'en / tanden / donjon). It was a bit like swallowing a hot chesnut. I hadn't felt that since I was back in England and doing serious taiji practice every day. After that I went back to doing hapkido forms and it was noticably different - like all my punches and kicks were coming directly from my stomach. Cool.
