I'm just in the middle of reviving an ancient Hindu cult, so this is very welcome news. If anyone complains about us, we won't need to go to all the trouble and expense of hunting them down and strangling them, we can just have them charged with a hate crime against Thugee.

I didn't know Mein Kamf was religious.

That's not the point, though. (I'm also somewhat surprised that they ban Mein Kampf, which those prepared to follow Hitler's turgid prose can buy in bookshops almost anywhere in the world.) Wilders is of course totally wrong that the Koran is fascist. To the extent that you can describe any book as fascist over a millenium before the invention of fascism, I'd say Plato's Republic was much closer to fascism. But if he were right, then the fact that it is a religious book would be no defence.

A long time ago, I gave a talk to the Black Lodge entitled "Why curse someone when you can break their arms?" Now it should be "Why curse someone when you can sue them?"

think some people make the mistake of blaming religion when really it's politics at work for the most part.

Very true, though of course the two tend to go together.
