I often hear analogies between sexism and racism. On the other hand, I have never met a Black person who said, "What's wrong with you? You're not a real White, you keep acting Black!"
Oh, I see. I was thinking of the situation in which a woman is criticized for "trying to be a man." (I've heard, certainly, of men being run down for not being manly enouh, but are they generally accused of trying to be women with anything more than casual derision? I mistook the tone of the Black-White accusation, in the example you present, for a more serious one.)
(I'm not proposing that women have it worse, in this sense, as I don't think that's true: I just misinterpreted your premise.)
