Deadlines revisited

Next time I say "The final deadline for submitting all course work is such-and-such", I should add "and that includes e-mail attachments. I will also not answer any e-mails after this date, unless they're about interesting stuff that has nothing to do with the course."
The part following the "unless" is important. I was about to ignore a mail when I noticed the subject header was "Poe or Lovecraft" - the student wanted advice on his summer reading. I recommended that he start with Poe.
