Too Many Robins

Harrumph. I just did some vanity googling on Google Scholar (I was curious to see if anyone had cited a paper I wrote some years back). When the service started a few years back, if I searched for "Robin Turner", references to my good self filled most of the first page of results; now I don't even make an appearance until page 4! In the good old days there were only two other Robin Turners in online academia (a chemist and a conservationist); now there are more, and some of them are very prolific. I suppose I should knock out some more papers to improve my Google ranking, but I'm much more interested in writing that novel at the moment.

(If I use normal Google instead of Google Scholar, three out of the first five results refer to me, but that's because Google—often annoyingly—prioritises local pages, and to my knowledge, I'm the only Robin Turner in Turkey.)
