The paperless classroom

Today I received an automated email from the computer centre informing me that I had exceeded the 10MB limit for mail directories (I have my mail client set to only delete mail on the server when it's deleted locally, and I don't delete anything that looks worth keeping).

This naturally prompted a cleanout, during which I found a paper on discourse analysis I'd written years ago and thought I'd lost. It also made me notice that over the semester I have received 182 mails from students and sent 198!
