Light reading

It's late, I'm tired and stressed out, and I need some light reading. Having finished my Reginald Hill novel, I'm hoping that I can find something in the house a bit lighter than my other current book, Jaqcue Bouveresse's Wittgenstein Reads Freud: the myth of the unconscious!

Quotations

Today, during one of my regular escapes from grading papers, I got our department website to display random quotes on the page itself rather than by clicking a link, which no one can be bothered to do (for the technically minded, it's the difference between Perl and javascript - our server doesn't allow cgi calls on non-cgi servers). While surfing for nice quotes, I visited a site on "terrorism quotes". Will this attract the attention to the new Ministry of Love Cheka Office of Homeland Security or whatever it's called?

That reminds me of a comment by a Romanian friend - "So they're uniting all security agencies into one powerful organisation, and collecting as much information as they can on everybody - that sounds kind of familiar."
